Har nesten glemt hvordan jeg bruker denne bloggen, men jeg lærer vel etter hvert. Det har vært rimelig hektisk etter at jeg kom tilbake fra Saigon og Manila, men det skjer mye bra! Er spesielt happy for fremdriften i forberedelsene til sommerens Jesusmanifestasjon utenfor gamle Østbanestasjonen. Ser ut som om en gammel drøm er i ferd med å bli en virkeliglighet ;)

They have trained 43 workers in the age from
12 - 26 to operate the church, outreach and










childrens ministry. This is from Kids Church
Saturday outreach. More than 400 children
participated in this meeting.

Manila

After Vietnam, we went on to Manila together
with Erik Tronrud that together with his wife Kjersti
is operating the ministry Mercy2Asia.

We are carefully investgating the possibilities for
a future Teen Challenge ministry in Manila with
Herbie as the leader.










This is on of the areas where kids down to 5-6
years are addicted to thinner and other kind of drugs.

His new life in a crowded city. We've never seen
so many scooters in one place at the same time!

The old neighbourhood

Hiep is back in his old neighbourhood where he
was leading a gang of criminal youths.

His only surviving friend from the old days has just
finished 40 months "rehab" for his heroin addiction.
If he returns to drugs, he will be sent back for lifetime!

Hiep's future Ho Chi Minch city (8 million inhabitants)
will be a big challenge after spending 8 years in
a one-man prison cell in Norway.

years in prison.

After a long journey, we finally arrived Ho Chi Minh
City. Hiep picked us up at the airport. He was happy
to see us after 5 frustrating and lonely weeks.
